      Pry bar
      Scissors
      Utility knife
      Masking tape
      Marking pen
      Screwdriver
      Hammer
      Soft cloth
      Dead blow mallet
      Diagonal cutters
      Reversible, adjustable clamp
      Band saw
      Belt sander
      Wood adhesive
      Clamps (or rope)
      Power drill
      Assorted drill bits
      Wood rasp  
     g Assorted sandpaper
     t Paintbrush     
     h Putty knife
     t Medium-coarse steel wool   
     g Soft-bristle brass brush
     t Wooden dowel (sharpened in a pencil sharpener)      
     h Jute twine
     t Fine sandpaper   
     t Clean, soft cloth       
     t Tack cloth  
     g Very fine (#0000) steel wool
       

Materials:
      Small pieces of wood and wooden dowels for repairs (as needed)
     Thick, semi-paste finish stripper
     Lacquer thinner
     Stain (you may want to test more than one color)
     Fast-drying shellac
     Glazing liquid
     Glazing tint
     Polyurethane varnish
     Caning kit
     Paste wax
