Gluing and clamping a miter joint together can be a bit tricky because it tends to slip. You can purchase a special clamp for just this purpose, but if you don't have one, Ron demonstrates how you can make your own.

Take a scrap piece of wood and create a 90-degree notch using a combination square.
|
|
|
|
Cut the notch out and save both pieces of wood. Place the cutout on the inside of the miter joint and the notch on the outside and then clamp the two pieces together. Now you have a miter joint clamp that you just made yourself!
