Learn how to assemble a purchased kit for a garden shed with sloping roof windows.

Measure the back-set--the distance from the inner edge of the sill plate to the center of the nut and bolt--and transfer that measurement to the underside of the bottom plates. Extend a line between this mark and the one in the previous step to carry over the two faces of the bottom plate and mark hole positions for the next step.
