Once the final coat is thoroughly dry, apply paste finishing wax with a pad of #0000 steel wool. Doing this eliminates any minor surface imperfections and gives the tabletop a smooth, almost velvety feel. Let the wax dry for a few minutes, then buff it with a soft cloth. |
THe table is ready for use. For any surface like this that will be receiving plenty of use, apply a coat of finishing wax about twice a year. Enjoy! |
