Now it's time to test the drawer glides. Engage the two sides of the glides and give it a little push to lock it in place.
To finish it off put a coat of paint on it and then take it back inside and install it in the cabinet.
Screw down the base of the pull-out trash system to the cabinet securely.
Slide the trashcan holder onto the glides in the base and give it a little push to lock it in place again.
The final touch is to add the door and the face of the drawer, which you previously removed, to the pull-out system so it is disguised as an order piece of cabinetry.
From the front, pin the door to the trashcan holder...
...from the back, screw the door to the trashcan holder.
Repeat this step with the drawer face.
Finally, drop the trashcan into the trashcan holder and it's ready to use.
Not only does this pull-out trash system add efficiency to a kitchen, but it can be closed away to hide your garbage while blending into your cabinetry. A feature every kitchen should have.
