How to Install a Garden Greenhouse Window

Replacing a kitchen window with a garden window that doubles as a mini-greenhouse provides an ideal spot for indoor gardening of herbs and flowers and makes the kitchen actually feel larger.  For this project, I use a high-quality window product with dual-paned glass that also ensures good insulation from heat and cold.

A wooden porch or deck railing may appear to be okay from a distance, but with age, it deteriorates, looks bad and can be a safety hazard.  For this project, I use a non-wood composite product that offers several advantages over wood.  In addition to being attractive, durable, and virtually maintenance free, composite railings come in pre-assembled components that cut the labor and make installation easy.
