Do you think this would be strong enough for a little one to sit on? Would it matter if it's MDF or Pine? Considering putting this in my son's room and having the wife sew a pillow for the top. Any thoughts?

Thank you so much for this project!! I did use screws and nails instead of the joiner and it still came out lovely and sturdy for my 3 year old granddaughter. We decided to make one as she has a lot of toys, no seating in her room and we were able to make this the dimensions she needed to hold all her toys - we even put in a divider in the middle to sort her toys! I love you Ron - and all your ideas and video help!! Our next project will be your adjustable child shelves and desk!!!

Dear Mr. Ron, This is great, beautiful and looks easy enough. I have a few questions.: what are the usual dimensions for this toy bench and would it be advisable to add casters for easy moving or would carry side handles be more suited? Thank you for your help. This is what we want to give our granddaughter, Shea, for Christmas this year.
