I've built a number of these for all of my hand tools. Now everything is organized and I can actually find the tool I need!
This is just what we were looking to do in our shop. Perfect Idea
Great idea! I built mine with five levels and enclosed the whole section with doors and now can keep up with over a hundred tools and it is neatly stored.
yes how far apart should you put the panels
I love watching your videos, I am a women that has some experience helping my dad when I was a kid …. the help my dad needed was mostly handing them tool, bring him stuff put it was a great time I was the youngest and the only girl. I love the way you explain on each video thanks for making things much easier.
Thanks Ron, This is just what I need for my shop.
How did it turn out?
I agree with the framed peg board as you can easily change the configurations for various tools.
Good idea but it seems like framed pegboard would be more functional since you would have multiple options to hang tools and it would also be lighter and less costly than 3/4" ply.
I follow Ron's Site weekly and this is one of the most useful ideas I have seen. I have limited space and a lot of tools and always looking for another way to store them, this will work just fine.
My question is how far apart do you have or need to put the "pages" of your book? I saw every measurement but that.
look again but on the top of the stud finder it marks like a laser to indicate the edge of the stud
WOW...Ron, you always show us how, to construct, build, repair, Everything...and always in a definite & positive, ways & means.. This is fantastic , to build this Foldable storage system, for much needed hand tools...Tremendous for all this extra space, this provides us..Many Thanks
Fantastic. I thought about the hinge mounting solution and you confirmed it. Something to look forward to in my new home.
The concept is great. In your video, the red-light, you referred to,on the stud finder appeared green on-camera.
I like this one for sure!! Thanks Ron
I love this with all the tools I have it will save me lots of room for other items.
A great tip as alway. Thanks Ron...
Ingenious! My husband can now be more organized very easily.
Wow, this could be used in a tiny home for kitchen tool storage as well as in the basement for tool storage. Really great for anywhere space is at a premium. Love this idea.
A GREAT PROJECT, EASY TO BUILD , LOW COSTSPACE SAVERKENNETH
a great project
Didn't see it closed Ron ... why?
