Ummm...you obviously have never owned an adult iguana that can grow to 5'-6' in length. I'm in the process of building a 4'x8'x7' enclosure for my iguana.
Unless he triples the size of the cage...its not worth it.
Get started on another, larger cage! The one in these plans is too small for an adult iguana.

this is a great cage for ONE iguana to go outside for getting sun for a couple of hours a day. It is NOT good for an adult iguana (5 to 6 foot) to live in. Iguanas need special lighting (uvb & uva) high temp 95 with a low temp side 75. This can not happen in an open cage.
I'm going to try this out, just got a baby iguana :D
