What is the point of using the cleaner when scrubbing is necessary? My $1.98 bottle of detergent will accomplish the same thing using the steps in the video. One word of caution when applying to roofs: scrubbing would dislodge the granules and thereby shorten the life of the shingles.

I have vinyl siding on areas of my new home. The smoke from the burning wood in the fireplace during the winter puts a black film on it. It is a real job to get it off in the spring. Will the "concentrated oxygen powered cleaner remove the smoke residue easier than the hard scrubbing I have been doing. If so, which cleaner should I use. I would appreciate any help, as I'm not getting any younger and it is a job I can do without. thank you...............Ken Kaufman
