I really liked the basement finishing system. How do you run electrical through the wall panels and can a homeowner put in the drainage system him self? The non-organic material is a no brainer. I'm starting to refinish my basement and these are great ideas. Thanks.

The keys are, a trench and pumps for water removal, excellent vapor barriers on floor and walls and materials that wouldn't stay wet, If they get wet. That every 100 year rain is coming, and this is the perfect basement to take it and looks beautiful.

Good video, but like others, I would like to know the cost. Ron probably got it for free, but the average guy is probably going to spend $30-35K for a similar job. It would also be interesting to know if Ron had been using a dehumidifier in his basement and if he still feels he needs it.

ps. I love Ron's TV show! It's is one of the most down to earth, realistic home improvement shows around.
