Can this system be used for back splash ?
If used at time of construction, this system would make it easier to remove a tile floor or to replace damaged tiles. Evidently the fiber layer separates easily from the paste, allowing clean removal of the mortar and tile. In the case of replacing individual tiles you would still have to cut the grout around the tile. I wonder if the fiber layer would serve as a crack isolation membrane?
