I like the raised bed, but it should have had a slanted top for drainage and to better allow for sunshine to enter. Also, there is hardware available to "automatically" vent (open slightly) dependent on the temperature. You don't want to burn the plants.

I love these projects where you use $1000.00 worth of tools to build a $10.00 project but I am really impressed with the Japanese hand saw.

Thanks Ron. Didn't see the wheels go on, but not needed out in the grass. This is a great showing of how to make any size cold frame box, depending on needs, so dimensions can be what we desire.

Long ago , when Mc G was editor of Organic Gardening , J.I. Rodell was master gardener of America and Fukioka was the King, they published - with dimensions -- blue prints of 'Hot Beds' that were designed to open during the warm days and close at night so any organic gardener could get a head start on spring .. this is no more than a small mixing box with no real app except to blend soil and prepare a number of planters at once.. ie. useless..

I found it to be great but very little info on size and demitions of it. So how are we to build one if you keep all the info from us. Aren't you tring to help us on wanting to buy and build this stuff if this is want we are looking for?
