I'm glad you understood how he installed the glass. Ron didn't mention how the filler strip gets affixed to the door. Ron should have just left out the whole bit about glass in the door or said he bought the doors after searching online or hired a pro to do it for him.

with a mirror back, I would suggest the mounting,just like a mirror, or large frame., either the mounting bracket, that slides over a nail/screw, or with heavy frame hanging wire

That's why they drilled the holes,"for the adjustable shelving" with the stop-block. You place pins, or pegs into the holes and slide the glass shelving onto the pegs.

I made a similar version after watching this video and it turned out great. One problem, once I cut the rabbit on the back for the mirror and backing, I realized that I had no clue how to mount this thing to the wall. Because the mirror takes up the entire back of the box with only a 1/2 to spare all the way around it doesn't seem there is anthing to affix that will hold it and the weight of the display up. Any suggestions?

Alternate glass installation would be to run glass frame sections on a router table to form a slot for glass to be inserted into as the sections are squared and put together. Advantage would be never having to worry about the glass accidentally falling out. The disadvantage would be if glass gets broken the frame would have to be dissmantled in order to replace the glass. Anyway that is my only suggestion. Project looked great as you did it this is merely an alternate way of accomplishing the same basic result.
