Nice project. It gave me more ideas on how to take advantage of MDF to eliminate the need for sheet rock. Looking closely at the design, it would appear that the door is thicker than the 3/4" MDF and hence would protrude. Most doors are 5/4" thick which would have them protruding 1/2 inch.

This made my proposed idea for new closets so simple to explain to my wife (Carol) as she has a difficult time visualising from plans. We both love the closets and the center storage shelves. We built this as a divider for our entrance to our basemnet and built an entertainment center behind the closets for our new TV/entertainment room. Thank-You soooo much.
