Ron, your vinyl floor, that you uncovered, is what i have still in my kitchen, only its gold color. I guess its time to put in some wood flooring.

do you run the hardwood under the diswasher, stove, refrig or do you cut around them? If you go under the dishwasher, seems like you'd have to raise the cabinets, sinks, countertops???

I am installing a 3/4 in pre finished hardwood floor in my living room. The hardwood in the bedrooms ( 4) is even with the sub flooring. How do I match up to the two floors? Thanks Dan

Is there a padding that goes under the flooring prior to installation? What is the best way to snug or quiet any existing loose boards under the flooring prior to installation? Thanks
