How to Put up a Chandelier

I used one of these Saf-T Braces a few weeks ago, absolutely wonderful fix for a shoddy original installation without attic access. They tend to be rated 70 or 150 pounds depending on joist spacing, but definitely check the product you buy.

Quick question: my chandelier is very old and has a small nipple that it hangs by with two sets of wires... the nipple is too small for two sets of wires to be fed through it. Is it a problem to hang it without going through the nipple, should I do something else, or do I need to consult electrical codes for this situation?

Nice job, but you conveniently omitted how you went from the short old wires at the old location to nice long romex at the new location
