How to Insulate Ducts and Pipes

Duct insulation

One of the cheapest and easiest ways to save on your heating and cooling bills is to make sure that your ductwork and your pipes are well insulated.

All you have to do for your ductwork is buy insulation in rolls. Simply wrap it around any exposed ducts as much as you can, tape it off, and the money savings begin.

For your pipes, you can buy the same type of wrap around insulation or even easier, foam insulation that is made just for water pipes. Simply cut it to size, insert it around the pipes and it seals itself.

The money you can save adds up quickly, so don't wait to insulate!
