You start by loading the drill bit into the chuck and tightening it...

Next, drill a hole...

| Remove the drill bit and put in a driver bit... |

...then drive in the screw.
That's not so bad if you've only got to put in a couple of screws, but if you've got to drive a lot of them, well, it can be a real time waster.

With the Twist-Lok system, insert a bit holder and drill bit into the chuck, then drill the pilot hole.
|
Now, instead of removing the drill bit, simply slip a driver bit holder over it.

|
Place a screw on the magnetized tip, and drive it in.
|
Another version of this system accepts any standard round shaft drill for drilling a pilot or clearance hole.

|
This special chuck can accomodate the Twist-Lok slip-on bit holder, which goes on right over your own drill bit.
