Considering storing your paint cans upside down. Not only will it make it easier to mix the next day, but it will also keep that top coat from skimming over.
If you're having problems getting into tight spaces because of your brush handle, just cut the handle off. Then, you'll be able to get into those tight spaces.

When you want to take a break in the middle of your paint job, you don't have to stop and clean your brush every time. Just store it in a plastic bag, make sure it's sealed and put it in the refrigerator. It will keep it fresh until you can get back to it.
Finally, one last tip, use an ordinary cotton swap. Dip it in paint and use it to touch up those little tiny, hard to reach spaces. When you're done,throw it away, it's that easy.
