A simple and inexpensive way to create a band of indirect wall illumination using standard cove molding and decorative rope lighting.

Indirect lighting gives a soft, diffused glow to a room.  This project uses readily available, off-the-shelf materials.  It can be adapted to just about any room size or shape.  Couple this with a dimmer switch and you’ve got mood lighting that’s versatile and quite sophisticated.
