How to Make a Dowel Organizer
Here's a great tip for storing dowels and short pieces of small molding, rods, tubing and other small diameter items using different lengths of ordinary plastic downspouts.
Cut pieces of downspout to various lengths, plug the ends with a wooden block and attach the sections to a panel, the side of a workbench or directly to a wall using standard downspout brackets.
This storage solution is easy to make, inexpensive and keeps materials neat, visible and organized.
