Acoustic popcorn ceilings were commonplace during 1950’s, 1960’s and even later. Today, though, they have largely fallen out of favor. If you have one of these and you’re tired of the dated look, you really have three choices: take it off (a somewhat messy proposition), live with it, or cover it up.
