I've looked every where for a curve arbour with slats.

I'm planning to build this one along the side of me house over our sidewalk.

That looks really good, I was planing on making a pergola like I saw on diynetwork.com but I think I might have to make a mishmash of the both because I like the bench idea from this one :)

If you need a materials list, you should not attempt building this. Just sketch it out on some graph paper and you will be able to see what you need.

Thanks, Ron! There is plenty enough info in this video to build an arbor. The builder must determine the size, so it would be impossible to submit a material list for everyone. My concern is the four 2X4s in the ground that support this arbor. Will they hold up in high winds, especially when it is covered with plants?

Could I please get a list of the materials needed for this project. We have had 2 garden arbors and both have not made it through weather or storms. I think this one will work for us. I have a wisteria plant on the ground right now waiting for an arch. I just can't find one sturdy enough to hold my plant. Spring is on its way and I need to get one in place. Please help!
